Katherine and Andrew knew they wanted a sophisticated and elegant black tie wedding from the day they got engaged. They chose the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the Back Bay for their summer wedding.
Design, decor and coordination of Katherine and Andrew’s vision was brought to fruition by the team at Hopple Popple, Inc and was even more beautiful than they had envisioned. Echoed in the dance floor, coordinated yet unique bridesmaids dresses, and the floral design by Winston Flowers (with regal pops of red), a color palette of black and white paired nicely with the black tie celebration.
Their emotional first look took place outside in the private courtyard of the hotel which also made for a perfect backdrop for photographs with the couple’s family and friends. The Mandarin Ballroom was transformed for the ceremony with floor to ceiling white drapes and accented with 2 stunning floral arrangements created by Winston Flowers at the beginning of the aisle. Katherine and Andrew exchanged their vows in a traditional Jewish ceremony under a beautiful floral chuppah.
A combination of rectangular mirrored tables mixed with classic rounds blended perfectly for the reception and were topped with an array of white flowers and candlelight. Following dinner, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed the evening on dance floor with music from Night Shift Entertainment.
A big thank you to the team at the Mandarin and to Linda Matzkin and her team at Hopple Popple for a wonderful day! Congratulations Katherine and Andrew and thank you for choosing us to document your wedding!
